Nokia Asha 205 & 206 coming Soon

Mid range devices from Nokia are certainly so much popular in the emerging markets around the world. These devices offer so many features and are available on very affordable rates as well. Today, the Finnish manufacturer has announced two new handsets named as Asha 205 and Asha 206. Asha series of cell phones have been really popular since the first handset was released. These new devices have the same specialty as the previous Asha devices, these are very affordable and even they are more affordable than the Asha 201 which was previously known as the cheapest handset in Nokia’s lineup.

Asha 205 Specifications

Both Asha 205 and 206 have similar features and it seems like they both will offer same price tag as well. The first one, Asha 205 comes with a 2.4 inch display screen and it comes with a QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. In addition to that, Asha 205 comes with a 64MB internal memory and on the rear side there was a 0.3 MP camera that is capable of capturing VGA quality images and QCIF video. The main feature of this handset is that it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Asha 206 Specifications

When we talk about the features included in Asha 206, it has the same 2.4 inch QVGA screen but it is in portrait orientation. It has the same 64MB internal storage, and it has a better camera of 1.3MP as well. Last but not the least, this portrait oriented device does not feature a full keyboard instead it brings a regular keypad.

Other Features

Other features in the device include the new Nokia Slam feature that will allow users to transfer files to other devices with fast speeds. We all know that these devices come with smaller internal storage but still they come with the support for microSD card up to 32GB storage. Both devices also feature a dedicated button for Facebook and users will be able to get a quick access to their social network profile. You will be able to pickup different colors of both devices.

Price

Nokia has set the initial price tag for both devices to be at $62 and they will be released in the coming weeks.

Samsung Offers Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Upgrade for GALAXY S II

We might get this sometime this year for our AT&T Galaxy S II. There’s no date for that yet, but it should be soon. When I first heard about ICS I was like YAY! About Sprint Epic 4G Touch latest leaked version of the official update, the FC07 version, has very few bugs and runs very smooth. All us Epic 4G Touch owners have to do is wait for Sprint to release it. We must hope they do it soon. Cause I am hoping for it to be released by the end of March.

Samsung Galaxy now supports T-mobile

I’m a T-Mobile user who really really wants this phone, great for people in a very fast T-Mobile HSPA+ area like me. Getting over 10 MB down and over 3 MB up, these are day time speeds. The Galaxy Note’s screen is amazing best screen I ever seen on a phone. Videos look like Ian watching my led TV. The size is not an issue. The S-Pen cones in handy.

New cell phone

Congrats Sprint customers.  The Galaxy Nexus is the best phone available today, and in my opinion it will continue to be the best phone available until the next Nexus. The problem with this phone is it will collide with the Galaxy S3 and most people won’t get this, they will wait for the Galaxy S III.
